Delete your account

If you can access the app, the fastest deletion path is Profile → Safety & Account → Delete Account. Follow the confirmation steps to permanently initiate deletion of your account and associated account data.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, you can request account and associated-data deletion by emailing support from the email address associated with your account.

Request account deletion by email

In your message, state that you want your The Neighborhood App account deleted. We may ask you to verify control of the account email before processing the request. Do not send passwords or authentication codes.

What deletion does

The deletion flow is designed to remove the Firebase Authentication account and associated profile and user data. Requests you own and reviews associated with your account are removed. Messages that need to remain to preserve another user's conversation history are deleted or de-identified so they no longer retain your account identity.

Limited retention

Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, fraud or abuse prevention, security, dispute resolution, or preservation of de-identified records needed for other users' legitimate histories. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
